Ralph Waldo Emerson: "It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no person can sincerely try to help another without helping him or herself”
We, the Governing Council of The Pune Chapter are a group of individuals who come from diverse backgrounds and yet united in our belief that coaching can take people and communities closer to who they could be. We share a common passion, a common vision, and a common goal: to proliferate the awareness of coaching through a myriad of activities and initiatives.
Through this endeavour, our aim is to not only equip ourselves and our chapter members with the tools and techniques of effective coaching but to also enhance the role of coaching in the community, society and ultimately, on a global platform.
We believe in the power of coaching through win-win relationships, and as a group, we are committed to the success of the people we encourage and partner through the various initiatives.
We realize the importance of coaching is not limited to executive coaching within organizations that have been previously exposed to the world of coaching, but also to those factions of our society that have little exposure, but stand to benefit the most powerfully.
In fact, just for a minute, imagine the impact of every employee/social worker/ educationist/change-maker that came in to work with the commitment to solicit coaching to enhance their role and be better at what they did! That would absolutely propel us, as a part of the ICF Pune Chapter, towards achieving individual and collective goals as well!
We urge you to participate, volunteer, and partner with us in adding value as coaches. In the words of Eddy Robinson: “Coaching is a profession of love. You can not coach people unless you love them.”
